Environment for RL of agents with memory

Hello, I made “GridMazeWorld” environment while working on my Master’s thesis.

On github’s link in the readme.md is a tutorial on how to run it.

The video above shows how can the environment be used.

the xkucht11_DIP.pdf file is the thesis itself. If you want to read it, I would recommend only the end of chapter 5 and the beginning of chapter 6 to understand the need for this environment.

chapters 1-4 are theory.
chapter 5 are other existing RL environments for agents with memory.

chapter 6 is about GridMazeWorld environment.

chapter 7 is about other implementation details that use the environment.

chapter 8+ are experiments, and those i don’t recommend reading, as i was running out of time, and it shows in the quality of the text.
