Anthropic gets backing from OpenAI & Google Deepmind employees in DoD lawsuit

Anthropic and the Pentagon have been trending in the news lately for their conflict around the use of the former’s AI tech in defense environments. Anthropic, after denying to let the Department of Defense (DoD) unrestricted access to its AI models, has been labeled a supply-chain risk in the U.S. Although OpenAI has secured the deal with the Pentagon, with plans to amend the deal to include ethical guardrails, many of the AI giant’s employees, including those at Google DeepMind, have officially backed Anthropic.
