Anthropic Expands in India with Bengaluru Office and Strategic Partnerships

Anthropic is expanding its footprint in India with the official opening of a Bengaluru office and a series of partnerships across enterprise, education, and agriculture. The move comes at a time when Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei has landed in New Delhi for the big India AI Impact Summit 2026. At a time when India is emerging as one of the largest and most technically advanced markets for Claude.ai, the company is hinting at its long-term commitment to the country. Nearly half of Claude’s usage in India involves complex computing and mathematical tasks, from building applications to modernizing systems.
