Staged Hybridisation for Visual Quantum Reinforcement Learning via Knowledge Distillation
Visual environments are a demanding setting for quantum reinforcement learning (QRL): high-dimensional observations, unstable RL optimisation, and constrained variational quantum circuits (VQCs) are difficult to train jointly.
